L&E – Legal and Engineering handles all labour, trade union and social security law matters.

It provides specialised advice on labour law issues related to company restructuring and company acquisitions, due diligence, crisis management, planning and management of redundancies and in negotiations with trade unions and public administration bodies.

The Department provides extrajudicial assistance and judicial representation before national civil courts, in arbitration proceedings and in conciliation and mediation commissions, more specifically through the following activities: individual dismissals, collective dismissals, resignations, solidarity contracts, mobility procedures, company transfers, restructuring and reorganisation, employment contracts, safety at work – accident prevention – accidents at work, disciplinary disputes and sanctions, demotion – professional deskilling, mobbing, labour claims, trade union law, self-employment – freelancers.

The Department has developed specific expertise in agency and contracting contracts.
